Abstract: In recent years there has been an increase in scholarly work revolving around social systems based in Southern Europe. The impact of economic crises and ensuing precariousness in this region altered traditional youth labour markets. Globalisation and migration flows have brought about significant changes in social and political systems. Increased use of social media and diverse lifestyles, even around family life and intimate relationships are altering the lives of millennials in significant ways.
