| Abstract: | The article offers a spiritual reflection on the experience which the two disciples of Emmaus underwent. The contrast between the initial journey from Jerusalem to Emmaus and the later one, from Emmaus back to the Jerusalem fold, is highlighted. The latter journey is marked by Easter joy on account of the disciples' encounter with the Risen Christ. The Easter experience and thus, the presence of the Risen Christ, makes all the difference in the life of the Christian faithful. |
