| Abstract: | The Classique Foundation presents the programme for the symphonic concert "Celebrity Concert 2003", directed by Joseph Debrincat, and featuring the National Orchestra of Malta (referred to as Orkestra Nazzjonali, though they are now known as the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra). The concert featured works by Giacomo Puccini, Georges Bizet, Franz Schubert and Charles Camilleri, and was held on the 12th of December, 2003, at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard. |
| Description: | Programme includes a letter from The Classique Foundation's chairman Joe Debrincat (Snr.), information about the Classique foundation, list of musical pieces, biography of musical director Joseph Debrincat, information on the history and the list of members of Orkestra Nazzjonali, additional programme notes on featured composers compiled by Joseph Debrincat, pictures of their previous year's production "Le Villi", an appraisal of recordings (appraising featured songs) written by Gerald Fenech, and list of acknowledgements. Also includes a separate note given with the programme, requesting people to turn off their electronic equipment for the show. |
