Abstract: The Faculty for Social Wellbeing has embarked on another important topic, namely that of investigating the impact of traffic on the quality of life as people go about their day-to-day life. The study has revealed some very important facts that we feel need to be addressed expediently. Travelling and the excessive pressure this is creating on our wellbeing, needs to be addressed through policy and political actions. From our end we have provided scientific and empirically-based data that should help with any decision making.
