| Abstract: | This research paper does not investigate the liturgical and catechetical formation of candidates to the priesthood in seminaries and religious houses of formation. Rather, the aim of this study is to delve deeply into a particular moment in the history of the vocation to the priesthood - its very beginning. In other words, this paper seeks to investigate the period prior to the individual's entry into a major seminary or a house of religious formation. |
