Abstract: | This project describes the development and implementation of an audio graphic equalizer on a Raspberry Pi. The graphical equalizer built permits the user to control 10 frequency bands by increasing or decreasing their gains. Furthermore the equalizer consists of several filters which are centered at a specific frequency. The filters are tested on Matlab to produce a prototype design for the graphical equalizer. The testing on Matlab was done using a stereo audio however the implementation on the RPI was done using mono audio. Both stereo and mono audio files use the same filtering techniques, however the sound quality of stereo audio is much better than mono. Later, when the satisfied results were obtained, the equalizer was implemented in C++ to be executed on the Raspberry Pi. |
