Abstract: Justice has many facets. It can take the guise of reasonableness, proportionality, equity, equality, and other features. One of those characteristics less known and less discussed in legal literature when dealing with the topic of justice is justice as due diligence. One of the general principles of Maltese law is indeed that of due diligence. It is found both in Public Law and in Private Law. [Excerpt]
