Abstract: Manoel Theatre and Impresa Ines Cantoni present the programme for the two 1-act comic operas: "Medico suo Malgrado", written by Alberto Donini with music by Salvatore Allegra, and "Rita", written by Gustave Vaëz with music composed by Giacomo Puccini. The performance featured an orchestra conducted by Antonio Brainovich, and was part of Manoel theatre's Grand Opera Season 1962, which was produced by Augusto Cardi, and held in November, 1962, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes repertoire of Manoel theatre's Grand Opera Season 1962, photographs of featured cast and crew in the Opera season, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, synopsis of both operas "Medico suo Malgrado" and "Rita" in English, list of cast and crew for both comic operas, and synopsis of both operas in Maltese.
