Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Malta Polio Fund present the programme for the 2-act play "Eliza (With apologies to 'My Fair Lady')", inspired by the musical "My Fair Lady", written by Nicholas Depiro D'Amico, and produced by Joseph R. Darmanin. The performance was held on the 14th and the 16th of March, 1963, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
Description: | Programme includes note on the production of the play, short biographical note on producer Joseph Darmanin, synopsis of the play, lists of cast, chorus and crew, synopsis of scenes, short biographical notes on actors Maurice Tanti Burlo', Greta Craig, James Galea, Suzannah-Lucinda Flannery, Narcy Calamatta, and Deborah Flannery, list of Manoel Theatre's Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre. A pamphlet for the Malta Polio fund was originally presented alongside this programme at the time of the event (refer to Teatru Manoel Miscellanea collection).
