| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a concert of Giuseeppe Verdi's music, held in celebration of Giuseppe Verdi's 150th birthday and in support of the "Save the Children Fund". The concert featured the Commander-in-Chief Orchestra (directed by Mro. Joseph Sammut) and the Maltese choir group Chorus Melitensis (instructed by Bice Bisazza). The performance was held on the 14th of May, 1963, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
