Abstract: Teatru Astra presents the programme of the 3-act tragic opera "La Traviata", written by Francesco Maria Piave, with music composed by Giuseppi Verdi, and produced by Prof. Franco Vacchi, with musical direction from Mro. Joseph Vella. The performance featured the Teatru Astra Orchestra (conducted by Mro. Joseph Vella and led by Mario Bisazza) and the Teatru Astra Opera Choir (directed by John Galea, Maria Frendo and Colin Attard). The performance was held on the 15th and the 16th of April, 1989, at Teatru Astra, in Victoria, Gozo.
