| Abstract: | The National band of Malta and The Ħamrun choir present the programme for a vocal and instrumental concert, featuring the musical works of Maltese composers Riccardo Bugeja and Philip Gatt, as well as those from non-Maltese composers Rossini, Tschaikowsky, and Verdi. The concert featured a choir directed by Rev. Fr. Jos Cachia, and starred the Maestri Edgar Lowell, Philip Gatt, Carmelo Caruana, and Abele Calleja. It was held on the 8th of January, 1966, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
