Abstract: Manoel Theatre, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, presents the programme for two musical performances from the Strauss String Quartet, featuring the musical works of Beethoven, Bartók, Schubert, Haydn, Berg, and Debussy. The performing quartet were made up of Ulrich Strauss, Ernest Strauss, Helmut Hoever, and Konrad Grahe. The performances were held on the 11th and the 12th of December, 1966, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes list of featured music including composers and descriptions, note on the Strauss String Quartet with photo, list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre, and signatures of each member of the String Strauss Quartet. Programme is given no. 143 in archival records. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records.
