Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, the British Council, and Rediffusion Ltd. present the programme for an orchestral concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and featuring guest conductor Sir Arthur Bliss and pianist Denis Matthews. The concert featured the musical works of Arthur Bliss, Beethoven, Purcell, and Elgar, and was held on the 29th of September, 1967, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
