Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for an orchestral concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, and led by George Spiteri. The concert featured the musical works of Dr. Paolo Nani, Mozart, Grieg, Gounod, and Mendelssohn. It was held on the 29th of August, 1968, at St Paul's Square, in Mdina. |
Description: | Programme includes photo of Maltese composer Dr. Paolo Nani, programme list of music including descriptions and composers, biographical notes on Dr. Paolo Nani, and an A4 poster advertising a vocal and instrumental concert by Manoel theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis. Though found in the archive physically attached, the A4 poster was unlikely to have been given with the programme at the time of the event. Programme is given no. 197A in archival records.
