Abstract: | Manoel Theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis present the programme for their vocal and orchestral performance of "Stabat Mater" (Opus 58): a cantata for soloists, chorus and orchestra, composed by Antonin Dvořák. The performance was conducted by Joseph Sammut, and featured soprano Antoinette Miggiani, mezzosoprano Jean Myers, tenor Aurelio Micallef Grimaud, and bass Pio Zammit. It was held on the 1st of June, 1968, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
Description: | Programme includes list of featured singers with signatures, list of songs in "Stabat Mater", list of member of Manoel Theatre Orchestra, list of Sub-Committee members of Manoel Theatre Orchestra, list of forthcoming events at Manoel theatre, and flier advertising a dramatic recital featuring Diana Torrieri held at Manoel theatre on the 10th of June.
