| Abstract: | This study aims to focus on the socio-economic aspect by considering each region’s potential to develop its competitiveness through the strengthening of functional flows within the region and outside. This implies understanding the current scenario and identifying those flows that support the development of a knowledge economy based on innovative governance approaches and policies that include social and cultural maturity, connectivity, both real and virtual, cooperation and dialogue, and an open opportunity structure. |
