Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Il Teatro Municipale di Piacenza present the programme for the 3-act comic opera "Il Barbiere di Siviglia", written by Cesare Sterbini, with music composed by Gioacchino Rossini. The opera featured an orchestra conducted by Ino Savini. The opera was part of Manoel theatre's series "La Stagione Lirica 1968", which was directed by Augusto Cardi and held in November, 1968, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. This performance was also held as part of Manoel theatre's Arts Festival 1968. |
Description: | Programme includes title page with repertoire list of La Stagione Lirica in Italian, photographs of cast and crew involved in the series with some signatures, synopsis of each act in the opera "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" in Maltese, list of cast and crew in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia", and synopsis of each act in the opera "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" in English.
