| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Il Teatro Municipale di Piacenza present the programme for the 3-act Japanese tragedy "Madame Butterfly", written by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, with music composed by Giacomo Puccini. The opera featured an orchestra conducted by Ino Savini. The opera was part of Manoel theatre's series "La Stagione Lirica 1968", which was directed by Augusto Cardi and held in November, 1968, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. This performance was also held as part of Manoel theatre's Arts Festival 1968. |
