| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Gruppo Giovanile Dante Alighieri present the 2-part programme of the performance event "Cocktail D'Inverno", featuring a rendition of Diego Fabbri's play "Contemplazione" (produced by R. V. Adbilla), instrumental and vocal performances of several choral songs and operatic arias, classical jazz performances, poetry readings, and a ballet performance. The choral section of the event was performed by the Jesus of Nazareth choir, who were directed by Padre Galea. The ballet section was performed by students of Princess Nathalie Poutiatine's Academy of Dancing, and choreographed by Princess Nathalie Poutiatine. The whole event was presented by Angelo Stivala. The event was held in celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the Gruppo Giovanile Dante Alighieri foundation, on the 23rd of February, 1969, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
