| dc.description.abstract | Is-Sinodu Djoċesan li kien sar fi-1591, meta kien Isqof Mons. Fra Tommaso Gargallo, kien insista li l-festa tal-qaddis patrun, ta' kull parroċċa kellha tkun ta' preċett, bi-obbligu tas-smigħ tal-quddies u tal-waqfien mix-xogħol, għall-membri ta; dik il-parroċċa biss. Din id-deċiżżjoni ġiet ikkonfermata fis-Sinodu Djoċesan li sar bejn it-22 u l-24 f'April, 1703, meta kien Isqof Mons. Fra Davide Cocco Palmieri (1684 -1711) fejn taħt il-lista ta' festi kmandati nsibu mniżżel hekk ''PATRONI cujus libet Parochia in ipsa tantum''. | en_GB |
