This project presents the realistic set of actions (Strategy) meant to support the initiation and implementation of the Maltese National Spatial Data infrastructure (MT-NSDI). The NSDI is defined as “The technology, policies, standards, and human resources, necessary to acquire, process, store, distribute and improve utilisation of geospatial data.” This infrastructure is critical for the development of seamless spatial data (geodata) for information sharing and collaborative decision-making across entities for multiple economy sectors. This report analyses NSDI components and proposes actions for the MT-NSDI implementation in the next 2-3 years.en_GB
