Abstract: | During World War II, Zammit Clapp Hospital, run by the congregation of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, affectionately known in Malta as the Blue Sisters, played a leading role in the care of civilian victims, as can be seen from the innumerable mementoes that hang on the wards' walls. |
