Abstract: | While walking through the main street of the town, I am greeted by gigantic banners hoisted on elaborately decorated pedestals gently swaying to the summer evening breeze. The flags are painted with elaborate images depicting saints, notable clerics, and local benefactors and adorned with elaborate geometric designs. The streets are brightly lit with streams of bulbs anchored overhead like luminous raindrops suspended in mid-air. On each side of the street, I see towering figures of various saints, clerics, and other holy figures. Angels blowing their trumpets and holding torches lead me towards the main square of the town.
