Abstract: | The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2) has had an unprecedented impact on healthcare systems, including endoscopy services. In the first few months of the pandemic, the limited knowledge regarding viral transmission coupled with the surge in cases requiring hospitalization led to a sudden decrease in endoscopic activity, limiting endoscopy services to only emergency and essential procedures. |
