| Abstract: | George Scicluna is a canvas I have seen unfurl, be stretched out and transformed into a thousandand- one shade, trespassing branded styles and sliding into its own. A boy in a cluster of peers that populated the upper end of the San Ġorġ tal-Ħaġar quarter of Victoria, he was the only one, so far as I know, to have evolved into the consummate artist that he has become. Alert, gifted, timid but gutsy, of a pensive nature, curious and ever argumentative, he started on his artistic trail without being aware that the sky was actually his limit.
