Abstract: The difficulty which has existed in supplying the Medical Schools of London with subjects for dissection has made it an object of much importance, to discover a method by which human bodies may be preserved from putrefaction. This matter was more particularly brought to our notice last winter, when great inconvenience was felt by the students, not only of Guy's Hospital, but of every school in London, from the insufficient supply of subjects for dissection...
