Abstract: This paper explores the conditions of the child in Tunisia and investigates whether the child in this state enjoys his full human rights. In the first part, I will describe the place of the child in this country and examine his/ her situation. Then, I will study the rules and codes established by the government that promote the status of the child in general and the girl in particular. The next part is an assessment of the extent of improvement of the position of the Tunisian boys and girls. Indeed, this part will deal with the critical issues that hamper the Tunisian children from enjoying their full rights. In fact, according to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, despite the progress that this country has achieved in the field of children's rights, there are still inequalities from which these children suffer.
