| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme of a ballet event, artistically directed by Tatiana Piankova, with musical direction from Nicolas Kopeikine, and performed by Le Theatre d'Art du Ballet. The event included the performance of the ballet "La Dame aux Camélias" (AKA Marguerite Gautier), based on the novel under the same name written by Alexandre Dumas. The ballet was choreographed by William Dollar, and featured music composed by Giuseppe Verdi. The event was held as part of the Malta Arts Festival 1970, on the 15th, the 16th, and the 19th of April, 1970, at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta. |
| Description: | Programme includes photo with signature of ballerina Anna Galina, list of creators of "Marguerite Gautier" (AKA La Dame aux Camélias), short note with photos on "Marguerite Gautier", synopsis of each act in the ballet with featured cast and some signatures, photo of dancers Anna Galina and Bogdan Bulder performing together, and small leaflet with more cast names for Act 1 and Act 2 of the ballet.
