| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the 3-act Maltese opera "Caterina Desguanez", written by Ivo Muscat Azzopardi, with music composed by Carmelo Pace, and directed by Vincenzo Maria (V. M.) Pellegrini. The opera featured an orchestra conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, and the Jesus of Nazareth Choir. The performance was held on the 24th, the 25th, and the 31st of October, and on the 1st of November, 1970, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
