Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Kor "Ġesù Nazzarenu" present the programme for the orchestral, vocal and literary concert titled "Mill-Oqsma Maltija", conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, with the choir directed by Fr. Salv Galea. The concert featured the musical works of several Maltese composers, including Carmelo Pace, Carlo Diacono, and Antonio Nani. The event also featured an oral performance of Anton Buttigieg's poem "Il-Ballata ta' l-Għarusa tal-Mosta". The event, which was produced by Charles Abela Mizzi, was held on the 6th of April, 1972, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
Description: | Includes two versions of programme, one with performers' signatures and one without. Both programmes include list of featured music including composers and descriptions, list of cast involved in "Il-Ballata ta' l-Għarusa tal-Mosta", list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and picture of the Manoel Theatre's Booking Plan.
