Abstract: | The Paceville Master Plan posits an ambitious strive towards an integrated approach that is to be commended. Whilst the document mainly focuses on building policies and use, along with traffic management and ancillary logistics such as sewage, communication networks, amongst others, it does not mention structural and social constructs that pertain to crime prevention, crowd control and the vitality of essential services. The feedback listed in this article elicits review pointers that MHAS brings to the discussion for amendment and updating of the Plan, which feedback pertains to the criminological, safety and security aspects that need to be considered in the finalisation and enactment of such a needed master plan. |
