Abstract: The Tanya Bayona Princess Poutiatine Academy of Ballet presents the programme for a ballet performance by its students, artistically directed by Tanya Bayona, and starring guest artists Tatyana Alexandrovna Frolova (ballet dancer), Nicolai Nikolaevich Dorokhov (ballet dancer), Carmine Lauri (violinist), and Simon Hester (pianist). The performance featured ballet dances to the musical works of Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Saint-Saëns, Bartók, Adam, and Ravel. The ballet performance items also featured choreography created by Tanya Bayona, Marius Petipa, Nicolai Nikolaevich Dorokhov, Michel Fokine, and Tatyana Alexandrovna Frolova. The performance was held on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Princess Poutiatine Academy of Ballet, on the 15th and the 16th of July, 1995, at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta.
