| Abstract: | That a sum not exceeding £ 250, be annually assigned for the maintenance of as many persons, native of these Islands, who may be willing, for two years, to continue their literary education in a Roman Catholic School in the United Kingdom, or to enter, as apprentices, any Establishment of a mechanical art (such School or Establishment to be elected or approved by Government), as with such sum can there be maintained, as a reward for their proficiency in any school in these Islands...
