| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the National Festivities Committee present the programme for an international show of dancers, singers, and musicians, featuring several performative groups from Italy, Libya, Malta, The Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom. The event featured the following groups: Manoel Theatre Resident Orchestra, the Youth Bextley Pipe Band (UK), Clan Clinton (UK), the Libyan National Folklore Group, the Val D'Akragas Group (Agrigento), the National Folklore Group "Viva Malta", and the "Voronezh" Dance and Song Group (Russia). The event, which was presented by comperes Josephine Zammit Cordina and Charles Coleiro, was held on the 15th of May, 1974, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
