Abstract: The family grave of the Preziosi family in Floriana was erected on the initiative of Count Joseph's third wife, the Most of Count Joseph's Rosalia Bonamico. Joseph (Giuseppe) Preziosi, from Corsica lived his life on the sea for most of his life and he finally moved to Malta and was appointed secretary to The Grand Master Fra Antonio Manoel de Vilhena. The Family grave was destroyed in an air raid during the Second World War but was rebuilt in 1994 with the expenses paid for by Contino Dr Francis Preziosi and his family.
