Abstract: | The widespread interest in the Internet, cybernetics, and satellite communications is reminiscent of a comparable phenomenon that occurred around the turn of the century. Scientists were experimenting different means of communication between distant continents . The most important of these pioneers in experimental and communication fields was Guglielmo Marconi, a young Italian who left his home country at age 22 to look for better circumstances and opportunities for his Innovations in the British Empire. |
