Abstract:	Aaron Attard Hili reviews an imperative point of reference within the history of the Gozo town which, like Senglea, Naxxar and Mellieha, celebrates its yearly feast ie , the Nativity of Our Lady, which is commonly known as Il-Bambina, additionally as Our Lady of victory, since it is associated with the two extraordinary triumphs in Maltese history. The article is mainly about the construction of the Church in Gozo, the difficulties they faced in the the process and its consecration.
