SIEC-ISBE professional development session : business education in the age of generative AI

Abstract

This workshop was led by Professor Leonard Busuttil, an experienced academic in technology education from the Faculty of Education at the University of Malta. He has recently collaborated with teachers and academics on seminars exploring the pedagogic applications of generative AI. The session covered the history and advancements of AI, highlighting its pervasive presence in everyday life, the challenges, generative AI prompting (hands on activities), and the implications for teaching and assessment. The session was very interesting and interactive. We thank Prof Busuttil for graciously sharing his expertise on this timely subject. The participants expressed their gratitude for this insightful session. May SIEC-ISBE continue providing such nourishing sessions that can be followed from the comfort of one’s home or office.
