Abstract: This article shall take into consideration and promote the importance of these Programmi tal-Festa in a microhistorical context. This shall be illustrated with a short history of how feasts were described and then a comparison of three examples from the 1930s follows. All three examples are in essence a programm tal-festa, however each is presented in a different way. The information that these programmes contain is varied and therefore provides for diverse research opportunities of the local scene.
