Abstract: Riccardo Buscarini, the choreographer, engaged in a discussion with Lara Zammit about his creation Requiem for Juliet, which was presented by the national dance company ZfinMalta at the Manoel Theatre. The performance unfolds a storyline where the late Juliet is the recipient of a fictional letter from her mourning mother, embodied on stage by actress Charlotte Grech. Buscarini's choreography is intricately woven with voice-over text penned for this production, drawing influence from the original play Romeo and Juliet.
