| Abstract: | The Manoel Theatre Orchestra, in association with the Cathedral Chapter, presents the programme for their vocal and instrumental concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and featuring the Manoel Theatre Choir (instructed by Marietta Magro and Josanne Tagliaferro). The concert also starred singers Antoinette Miggiani (soprano), Andrew Sapiano (tenor), and Joe Vella Bondin (bass), and featured Tony Sammut at the organ. The concert featured the musical works of Carmelo Pace, Stravinsky, Mendelssohn, and Dvořák. The performance was held on the 29th and the 30th of June, 1977, at St. John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta. |
