| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre Orchestra presents the programme for their vocal and instrumental concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and featuring the Manoel Theatre Choir (instructed by Marietta Magro and May Borg). The concert also starred singers Antoinette Miggiani (soprano), Andrew Sapiano (tenor), and Joe Fenech (baritone). The concert featured the musical works of several operas, including those composed by Carmelo Pace, Leoncavallo, Verdi, and Mascagni. The performance was held on the 26th of April, 1977, at Manoel theatre, in Valletta. |
