| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the management team of the Astra Theatre present the programme for the 3-act operetta "The Merry Widow", written by Leo Stein and Victor Léon, with music composed by Leo Stein and Franz Lehár, and produced by George Xerri. The performance featured an orchestra conducted by John Galea, and a chorus instructed by Alfred Arnold. The performance also featured choreography created by George Mejlak. The performance was held in aid of charity, on the 26th of March, 1978, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
