Abstract: When developing a Sustainable Urban Logistics Plan (SULP) many public authorities face a lack of information and sparse exchanges with the business leaders. For solving traffic related problems such as congestion, lack of loading bays, poor enforcement of local rules, or even transport related air pollution, local decision makers lack management expertise, manpower and stakeholder engagement. This research aims to (i) reflect about the current status of urban logistics management in Valletta, Malta, and (ii) assess the feasibility of different solutions for the case study area.
