Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Culture present the programme for a combined concert performed by the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta (directed by Anthony Chircop), the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Commando Forces (directed by H. C. Farlow), and the Manoel Theatre Choir (instructed by Marietta Magro). The concert featured songs written by Karmenu Vassallo and Anton Buttigieg. The performance was held on the 29th of March, 1979, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two copies of programme included, one with performers' signatures and one without. Both programmes include note with painting picture on Manoel theatre's founder Grandmaster Antonio Manoel De Vilhena, list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, song lyrics to "Il-Għanja Tat-Tluq, note with photo on the Armed Forces of Malta, list of featured music including their composers and lyricists where applicable, note with photo on the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Commando Forces, song lyrics to "The Parting Song", song lyrics to "Jum Il-Ħelsien", biography with photo of President of Malta Dr. Anton Buttigieg including list of some of his literary works, note with photo on composer Rear Admiral O.
