| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture, and Welfare present the programme for the double bill of "The Man of Destiny" (written by Bernard Shaw) and "The Unknown General" (written by René de Obaldia), and the 3-act drama "Gheruq" (written by Arnold Wesker), all performed by the students of the Manoel Theatre Academy of Dramatic Art. The plays "The Man of Destiny" and "The Unknown General" were both directed by Adrian Rendle, while the drama "Gheruq" was translated to Maltese and directed by Alfred Mallia. The double bill "The Man of Destiny" and "The Unknown General" was held on the 25th and the 26th of October, 1979, while the performance of "Gheruq" was held on the 3rd and the 4th of November, 1979. All performances were held at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
