Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture and Welfare present the programme for an orchestral concert conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and performed by the Manoel Theatre Orchestra, with the Manoel Theatre Woodwind Quintet. The concert also starred pianist Lina Zammit. The concert featured the musical works of Carmelo Pace, Bartók, Coleridge-Taylor, and Shostakovich. The performance was held on the 20th of November, 1979, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes short note with picture and signature on pianist Lina Zammit, list of featured music including composers and descriptions, photo of the Manoel Theatre Woodwind Quintet, notes on quintet members Joseph Corrado, Orazio Cachia, Joseph Camilleri, Archibald Mizzi and Philip Psaila, and photos of composer Mro Carmelo Pace and conductor Mro.
