Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture, and Welfare present the programme for a concert held on the occasion of Bulgarian Week, featuring the Folk Ensemble of Sofia University, and Bulgarian opera singers Ludmilla Cheschemedjieva, Haralampi Haralampiev, Blagovesta Karnobatlova, and Nikola Vassileff. The concert featured various Bulgarian folk dances, as well as musical works from several operas composed by Massenet, Puccini, Strauss, Bellini, Rossini, and Verdi. The performance event was held on the 28th of November, 1980, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
