Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture and Welfare present the programme for a combined concert performed by candidates from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music London and from the Trinity College of Music in London who had qualified in 1980. The concert starred soloists Raymond Cassar, Margaret Cini, John Galea, and Simon Schembri. The concert featured the musical works of Simon Schembri, Chopin, Villa-Lobos, Debussy, and Beethoven. The performance was held on the 12th of June, 1981, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes notes on pianists Raymond Cassar, Margaret Cini and John Galea and classical guitarist Simon Schembri, list of featured music including composers, descriptions and their performers, note on Manoel theatre's founder Grand Master Antonio Manoel De Vilhena, and picture of Manoel theatre's booking plan.
